The Open Psychotherapy Centre and the Institute of Group Analysis of Athens
work closely together, exchanging ideas, knowledge and experience, while maintaining their administrative and operational autonomy. The Open Psychotherapy Center (1980) is a day mental health unit, with the aim of providing treatment to individuals of all ages, who face any kind of psychological problems. The Institute of Group Analysis (Athems) is a scientific organization (1982) with the aim of both promoting and specializing in Group Analysis.

The educational activities include the wide range of Introductory Seminars and the four Postgraduate Professional Trainings. They are organized by the Institute of Group Analysis (Athens), in collaboration with the Therapeutic Sector of the Open Psychotherapy Centre.
Training activities also include Open Lectures, Workshops, Conferences (participation and organization), Research, the Library, editions and publications, etc.

The therapy is aimed at individuals of all ages who are facing any kind of psychological problems. The only condition is that they come of their own free will. The Therapeutic Sector contributes greatly to the adequate clinical practice of the students of the 4 Institutes. It is also a suitable field for
research and the application of new ideas and schemes!
