Training in Psychodrama and Sociotherapy (Therapeutic Community)

The duration of the Training is four years; it is the only complete training in sociodynamic psychotherapeutic techniques, which trains experts for Psychodrama and Therapeutic Communities. It operates in the form of the Training Community, in collaboration with the Therapeutic Sector and the three Therapeutic Communities. The theory and practice of the Training are based on Psychodrama, Therapeutic Community, Sociotherapy and Group Analysis.
It is of interest to both those working in the psychiatric field and other professionals who work primarily with groups, such as in the field of special education, prevention, rehabilitation, education, business, etc.
After completing the Training, graduates can become members of the Society of Therapeutic Community, Sociotherapy and Psychodrama of Greece. They also meet the requirements for obtaining the European Certificate in Psychotherapy according to the formal procedures of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
The Training includes:
- Personal therapy, before and during the Training, in a mixed group.
- Intensive theoretical seminars.
- Teaching work: Coordination of seminars, theory, as well as supervision groups.
- Clinical practice in an appropriate psychotherapy space, throughout the duration of the Training.
- Individual and Group Analytic Supervision of the therapeutic activities of the students.
- Participation in community activities of Training; Sensitivity Group, Symposia,training meetings and organizational activities.
- Research-writing experience; writing of a Short Project (3rd year).
- Preparation of a Diploma Thesis.
