Day Conference on Play

Day Conference on Play. The Open Psychotherapy Centre, the Institute of Psychodrama-Sociotherapy, and the Association of Community Therapists, Psychodrama and Sociotherapy are co-organizing a conference on play with the theme:
“Relating, Communicating, Healing”
Play is the primary means of expression, communication, and learning during childhood. Through play, children discover their environment, themselves, and others, expand their imagination, learn to cooperate, and understand their limits. For this reason, experts recognize play as a fundamental psychotherapeutic tool and consider its use to be self-evident.
After adulthood, play, although it changes form, continues to offer significant benefits for our daily lives, our relationships, our quality of life, and our personal development:
At the day conference, which took place at the Open Psychotherapy Centre on Saturday, December 8, 2018, participants had the opportunity to remember the importance of play at all ages, to discuss and explore the extent to which play can be simultaneously entertaining, educational, and therapeutic for young and old alike.
The program of the conference included theoretical presentations and experiential workshops (sociodrama, play groups).
