Psychopathology Tutorial
Throughout the academic year, a Psychopathology Tutorial operates, within the framework of the training activities of the Institute of Group Analysis (Athens).
The Tutorial is addressed both to students of the four trainings programs of the I.O.A.A., for whom it is a mandatory part of their theoretical training, as well as to students of other training organizations in psychotherapy.
The topics of the Tutorial include:
- Taking a psychiatric history
- Clinical interview
- Ethical issues in psychiatry
- Personality disorders
- Schizophrenia-Psychosis
- Anxiety disorders
- Alcohol and drug-related disorders
- Eating disorders
- Geriatric psychiatry, death and bereavement
- Critical approach to diagnostic systems
The above topics are accompanied by the presentation and discussion of the patient history, in order for participants to clarify and become familiar with clinical practice.
